Try to eat more vegetables and this is before your period I might add also after to help you gain backs some of that blood you lost vegetables like spinach, romaine lettuce and broccoli you know what ever you prefer.

2. We also tend to drink a lot of milk during this is a major no no because it helps to feel bloated and does not help with cramps it increases them as a matter of fact also before during and after your cycle you should eat a lot of yogurt this prevents yeast from forming or any other infection such as (UTI) many of us including I my self have problems with urinary track infections after your cycle but with every problem is a cure. You can drink water you can drink a lot of fruit juices or you can go to the doctor and let him prescribe some antibiotics I personally drink a lot of water and fruit juices and I find that when I meditate that has a good effect on this also if you have to go to the bathroom don’t hold it go this helps to form the germs of the (uti) remember urine is waste so let it out ok.

3. We have been told for years by the women in our family or our gynecologists that hot water bags help with the crams its true it does I have a problem with severe cramps and heavy bleeding. I find the older I get the worst it gets also my mood swings are very bad. I do a lot of meditation right before this helps to sooth your body before the menstrual cycle I do it before and after so try it might help.

4. Try to eat a lot of blood giving food after your cycle to help restore some of those cells you lost during your cycle. Stuff like romaine lettuce or some broccoli or steamed spinach with garlic and butter ladies there are many ways to restore your blood with green foods so please explore your options when it comes to your vegetables.

5. Some women use pads some use tampons. It has been proven that tampons cause bacteria and can even get stuck inside the vagina. The blood needs to flow out but the tampons prevent that from happening which causes infection from dirty blood so if you use tampons be careful and very sterile with them in protecting your goods.
