A 16-year old boy was arrested for robbery in Portmore St. Catherine Monday night.
The boy who is said to be a former student of the Norman Manley High School has also been charged for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, shooting with intent and robbery with aggravation.
It is reported that on Sunday, the youth and two men held up a man at gun point, in Newland and allegedly robbed him of his bicycle.
About 7:30pm Monday, the robbery victim was walking in Newland when he reportedly spotted the 16-year old riding the stolen bicycle.
The complainant held on to the teenager and alerted the police.
The gun, a point 3-8 Smith and Wesson revolver with three live rounds was taken from the teen.
