Signs of the Times

by: Latoya Lewis

If we look around us the truth is very adamant and plain to see that our country is at war our religions have fake prophets and our children are dying more and more by the dozens. There is out breaks of unknown diseases and powerful attacks nation wide from terrorists and people who think they can change the world by using their bodies as human bombs.

The economy is at an all time low since the famous great depression. People are losing their worldly possessions at the drop of a dime because there is no money to feed their families. If we take a look at ourselves just for one moment and do some research and notice for one moment that these are signs that God said it would be earthquakes in diverse places and famine and disease that we would have no cure for. We have children being robbed of their youth fathers are no longer looking at their children like their own and spouses are more and more committing adultery.

The sorrow of mothers losing their children to another shoot out and instead of our families embracing one another we look at each other’s flaws and pass judgment when we know that there is only one person who can do that. As A human race of America we are most privileged country and instead of using it to our advantage we abuse it and take it for granted. There are many ways to unite not just one and many people think this is through money this is true but we are all different but in so many ways we can relate to one another weather it be a struggle or a fight.

Our latest devastation is the Tsunami in Asia and Africa where the earth rumbled under the oceans floor and caused this big wall of water to turn over on people and killing more than 155,000 people and still counting there is no food no water wife’s who lost there children and husbands who lost their meaning of existence because they have found the remaining of their wife and child floating in a sea of water; so his next choice is to just cry and embrace his only living child and mourn and wonder what does God have in store for his future. There are orphans that are being prayed on by people who want to turn them into prostitutes or enslave the young boys and rob them of there childhood. Villages that were once this wonderful place to come home to is now the resting place of thousands of dead bodies waiting to buried or burned because there is so many.

The stench of decaying flesh files the air and the chance of disease breaking out becomes more and more horrifying because there is no medication to cure the ill or the wounded. There are Buddhist monks praying for the thousands of souls lurking around the island so they won’t stay to the wrong place. There have been reports of Americans missing and some 75,000 tourists missing and or presumed dead. Also reports that 13% of the dead are children babies who did not have the strength to fight the raging waters from the sea. Politicians who are not on the same sides are bonding in effort to help the worst devastation know to our mankind. There are homeless people there are some who are brave and find the strength to move on and live another day but still can’t get the thought of how they will survive the rest of there life with out seeing there loved ones.

So in conclusion to this amazing mourning of our nation please don’t be naive to the powers of God and the powerful force of his being. Pray for the many souls that are lost the homeless who are holding on by a small thread and the children who will never get to know mommy or daddy; or the mother who can’t understand why the ocean swallowed her home family and all her possessions. The immense reality is do not take life or it’s value for granted because we are here today but tomorrow or the next minuet or hour is not promised to no one and sickness or pain does not have a face or a name. Please be wise don’t try to make sense of what happened or ask why thank God for life and him showering you with his mercy to let you see another day or hour or minuet because it could have been you or me.

I am the author of this article and what has happened to these people and or nation is now beyond devastation now is the time we need to unite and become this powerful force to help our fallen families of this tragic situation please remember them in prayer and thought.
