The streets of Brooklyn came alive on Labor Day with the sounds of music, colorful costumes and revelers at the annual west Indian day parade along eastern parkway in Brooklyn, New York.
It was a joyous experience to say the least, but the event, like many of its magnitude was not speared from a few violent incidents. But thankfully, those incidents were short lived due to the swift action of the NYPD and emergency professionals.
