Please, turn and walk away
For I know I will make you stay,
Too much turmoil and mistakes to make
Too much love and patterns to break
Three years have passed since this love started
And six months ago was when we parted
Now you return and I am weak
Thought I was so strong, but I am suddenly meek
A love like this is so rare for me
It surrounds my vision and makes it hard to see
But if I could choose, Iwould want only you
I think you are the best love I ever knew
Thirty one and single at the moment
Going through pain that’s filled with torment
I yearn for you, like a baby for food
I hate to say it, but you gauge my my mood
See no one else has ever loved me so good,
No one has ever made me feel so confused
In love and then hating you in the next breath
I sometimes wish upon our love a swift death
But the reality still stands, I love you
And it sucks to say, but I know it is true
So wait I must for this ocean to subside
No matter how long, the tide I must ride
So please turn and walk away
For I know I will ask you stay,
And if you leave the blood will run dry
And tmy only option then, is to close the book and die…
