Join Our Team

Thank you very much for your interest in becoming a part of WeJamaicans.com’s online Dream Team. We consist of a group of individuals [Jamaicans and non-Jamaicans] that volunteer a few hours a day or week to assist with the day-to-day maintenance and promotion of the site.

Membership / Position Description:
1. Super Admin: The Super Admin consists of programmers and management. Their responsible is to ensure that WeJamaicans.com is up and running.

2. Marketing & Advertisement: Obtains founding through advertisers and sponsors to ensure that we are able cover our monthly operational cost.

3. Online Promoters: Promotes WeJamaicans.com online

4. Link Seekers & Traders: Searches the web for websites with similar concepts and initiate link exchange.

5. Writers: Responsible for writing content that reflects the overall theme of the site. Sections: For Men, For Women, General Articles, and Reggae Music.

6. Content Editors: Reviews and approves all articles before it is posted on our main site.

7. Content Administrators: Is responsible for keeping the content in the General Articles, News, For Men, For Women, Reality Pasa Pasa and other sections fresh. Each CA will be assigned the maximum of two (2)sections to update on a weekly or monthly basis. (*Requires Basic knowledge of HTML*)

8. Error Trackers: Constantly checks the site for broken links and other errors that may interfere with the overall functionality of the site.

9. Forum Moderators: Are responsible for posting new topics, inviting new members and monitor the posts so that it goes in accordance with the Forum Privacy Policy.

10. Columnists: If you would like a regular column with us, please contact us and tell us what your column would be about, how often you would supply articles, and how many other sites you are writing for. We will then set up a section on WeJamaicans.com for you to upload your own articles and include any pictures that go with it. (Examples of columns: Ask Mr TechHelp, Reality Pasa Pasa, Ask for Advice, etc.)

    Basic Membership Requirements:

  • You must be a active / registered member
  • Reliable email address
  • You don’t have to be a Jamaican – all are welcome
  • You must have some knowledge of the Jamaican culture
  • Be able to spend at least 20 minutes a day promoting, updating, or inviting your friends and family members to join the fun.
  • Respond to or post new discussion Topics on a regular basis
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Must be 18 years old or above
  • Team player
  • Must not be a Moderator or Administrator of a website that is similar to WeJamaicans.com
  • Able to honor his or her responsibilities as a Team Player
